Dead T42p, No power, No charge

Alright I need some help here...I recently bought a T42p (2373-KTU, ATI FireGL T2 128MB GPU) that had its motherboard replaced right before I bought it. I've had it for about 2 months, but only used for a month. I needed to use it the other day, so after it had been on for an hour or so, unexpectedly died.

Battery was in, charger connected, and died as if someone pulled the battery out and unplugged it. It won't charge or show any of the indicator led's. And it won't turn on.

I'm really confused as to what happened. Pushing on the keyboard doesn't help, took it apart and tried it also. Do I have the dreaded GPU issue? (For which it was sent in for 2 months ago!)
