T60p, Advanced Mini Dock & Dell 3008wfp limitation?

So i bought a used T60p , advanced mini dock for my 30 inch dell monitor,

plugged everything in through dvi port, everything works great( i get 2560x1600 resolution).

i have windows 7 ultimate installed with latest drivers.

when i try to maximize the screen for any streaming videos on the net when connected to the monitor the video speed is not smooth at all .
if i run the same thing full screen on my laptop it works fine.

is there a limitation with my built in ati card(says 256 mb dedicated) with regards to the 30 inch monitor which causes the issue or is it the OS?

What's CPU utilization?

If it's a Flash video, especially one playing in a browser other than IE, you might just not have enough CPU power to play a 2560x1600 full-screen video.
