Dynamic Contrast on Integrated?

#1 Post by Colonel O'Neill » Thu Nov 19, 2009 5:02 pm

I was wondering why my computer's screen has been changing colours by itself... Apparently, when I'm on the integrated Intel graphics, the colors will change dynamically based on how bright it is... It doesn't do this with the discrete ATI graphics...

Has anyone noticed the same thing?

(I also unchecked all of the options under Video Settings for auto film mode detection to no avail)

EDIT: Strange, the problem seems to have disappeared on AC power, on the integrated as well. I have Power Settings in the Intel control panel set to Best Power Savings... Could it be somehow changing the contrast to save power?
