Tape Pin-20. It is on the bottom side of the card, as shown below:

So I taped the pin...with masking tape, is that okay???
Even after doing this, it is still not working. Am I using the correct driver (from HP) or do I need another one?
Thanks for the assistance

There is no MC7725. What do you really have? If the card is an HP ev2210, then it is an MC5720. Is that correct? If it is, then you need MC5720 drivers.

You are correct EOMtp, I was wrong, it is a MC5725, I must've mis-typed...Where could I find the drivers?

BINGO!!! Thanks to Zender (for the BIOS & idea), EOtp (for correcting my card info) and Peak2Peak (for pointing me in the direction of the correct driver) I am now able to use my x200t to connect to Sprint's network!

For historical purposes...

How to get a x200t to connect to Sprint's network

Steps to follow:
1. Purchase a Sierra Wireless Sprint MC5725 from ebay (about $40)
2. Installed Zenders BIOS update
3. Installed Sierra Wireless Sprint MC5725 (all you need is a screwdriver and the guts to open the computer. Here is the link to the Hardware Service Manual for assistance http://www-307.ibm.com/pc/support/site. ... MIGR-70830)
4. Download the HP Card driver from:
http://h20000.www2.hp.com/bizsupport/Te ... de=4&idx=3
5. Download the HP WWAN Broadband Wireless Client Manager for Sprint from:
http://h20000.www2.hp.com/bizsupport/Te ... ob-55791-1

Note:
I did tape the card as suggested by EOMtp like this:
http://www.endeer.cz/lenovo/F3507g-mark.jpg
However, I'm not sure if that did anything since I didn't receive any funky errors at start-up.

Congratulations on your success!

Note: You are correct that taping Pin-20 on the MC8725 does not "do anything". You do not need to tape Pin-20 on an MC8725, which is a CDMA/EV-DO card. Covering Pin-20 is required only for GSM/HSPA cards, such as the MC8775. (At the time I suggested taping Pin-20, I did not know which card you have.)

Glad to hear you have got the MC5725 working - :thumbs-UP:

The current HP WWAN Broadband Wireless Driver (Version 2.2.2.0), installs OK in non-HP notebooks - but I have never had any success getting it to work and have always had to install the previous version - (2.0.16.0)
