Have you used the IBM buyback program?

#1 Post by slagmi » Thu Feb 17, 2005 5:15 pm

Has anyone here used the IBM buyback program?

Was the process as easy as it sounds?

Was the credit as promised and did you get it in an appropriate time?

The program probably is credible since it's IBM, but still, you could probably get more money for your old computer selling it on eBay.
ThinkPad T60: 2GHZ CD T2500, 3gb RAM, 14.1" XGA, 60gb 7k100, Win 7 Ult
Latitude E7250: i5 5300U 2.3ghz, 12gb RAM, 12" 1080p touch, 256gb SSD, Win 10

You might be suprised AlphaKilo, but I'm a reputable seller on eBay, and I repair and resell broken Thinkpads and the last one I sold on ebay was a G40, that went for about 540$. Though I made a decent profit, what IBM offers isn't really all that bad.

The thought of turning in 3 or 4 used Thinkpads and getting a new one is intersting...
