Installing an ultraport in the 600E/X or 770X/Z

El-sahef, how in the world did you learn to solder on such tiny connections? A solder clod like me probably shouldn't even be starting a thread like this.

I just finished studying the one about adding a second USB port to the 600E or 770X. Someone mentioned the ultraport in a T series. No one put the two ideas together. That's amazing.

The real question is not "Can it be done?" or even "How do I do it?" but where do I get the parts and is there anything I need to know about choping up the top of my lid? Like how much space will an ultraport connector take; is there room between the top of the LCD and the case top?

Anything else any of us would be hackers should know before we start hacking?
