chaging cpu for x41T

Hi to all members,
can we change the CPU of thinkpad x41t?
Is it soldered on motherboard? all techies reply.

It is soldered onto the systemboard, so the answer is no.

Yup, its soldered.
The only way would be to swap motherboards (but even then, the only step up would be from 1.5ghz to 1.6ghz, not really worth anything IMO).

Just curious, is there anything you can do armed with a heat gun? :P
