T400 Mobile broadband

#1 Post by vigor » Wed Dec 09, 2009 6:51 pm

Hi,

System T400/XP.
Broadband minicard Ericsson F3507g.

I have tried and use Thinkvantage Access Connection, but the issue is, the Wifi detection is not as great. My question, is there any software out there that can manage the 3G broadband connection? I would like to get rid off the Thinkvantage Access Connection.

I have tried to use BVRP Connection Manager Pro or Avanquest Connection Manager. None of them to my liking nor not detecting the Ericsson F3507g. Yes, the hardware has been detected and listed on the hardware manager. It's working with Thinkvantage Access Connection manager in the past.

Any suggestion will be greatly appreciated.

vigor: A very warm welcome to the forum.

When you say that "the Wifi detection is not as great" (I think you mean WWAN?), please could you elaborate a little more. (Signal strength displayed in Access Connections, connection drops out etc).
Another utility that is capable of controlling the Ericsson F3507g is Sony-Ericsson Wireless Manager 5.3.2076.12 - Note: If the download link does not appear type "Wireless Manager 5.3.2076.12" in the search box.
