Just a few qu here.
I have a t40p board which stopped charging the battery thorugh both parts.
Found one of the mosfets on the back to be blown..
so i switched it out still did not correct the prob.
Then in a act of lazyness i replaced the adp chip on the top and all the other mosfets for the normal batter and the dc circuit.
which has left me with amachine that works on dc
But when the battery is connected nothing, lights still stays green
but when the ultrabay battery is connected the light changes to orange.
But when i try to power alone on either battery the board starts then restarts and carries in this cycle ..
Some thoughts would be appriciated..
Fuses check out, as does the resistor connected to leg 1
As it differs from the other threads slightly i though i would start a new thread
t40p board fails to charge and turns on and off on battery
Re: t40p board fails to charge and turns on and off on battery
With ultrabay battery in
On adp chip
Pin 1 gives 16v
pin10 gives 3v
pin 23 gives 10v
pin 24 gives 10v
with normal batt
pin 1 giives 16v
pin10 - 0v
pin 23 -around 3v fluctuates
pin24 -around 3v fluctuates
behaviour of pin 23 and 24 same regardless off if batt connected.
