display from t40 into t43?

Hi,
i have got problem with my sxga from t43, so i want to change it... And i have got display from my old t40... is is posible take display from t40 a put into t43?
i am afraid becose my friend destroyed two boards t43 when he was trying put display from t41 into them... but i dont dont know if his display was bad or where was mistake... cen you help me?

If you move the whole lid (including cover, LCD cable and inverter) from the T40 to the T43 (assuming they are both the same size 14.1" or 15"), you should have no problems.
If you can, change the LCD resolution to 1024x768 (Display/Settings) in the T43 before you do the swap.
