Thinkpad Z61m Power On Password

#1 Post by 11101987 » Fri Dec 11, 2009 4:57 am

I password protected my BIOS two years ago, last weekend I removed my cmoss battery. Now I receive a power on password, which I did not setup. I lost my password to my BIOS so I am clueless what to do next. Websites talk about hacking, Lenovo talks about a new motherboard, so I was wondering what fellow Thinkpad users think. Thank you!

All we can advise on this forum is to follow Lenovo's advice. Good luck.
