T42P Batteries: 92P1101 vs 08K8214

Help-

My computer ordering person is about to order extra batteries for my team's T42Ps. The computer comes with the 9-cell battery that sticks out the back, and I want to also get a smaller one that won't stick out the back. There seem to be two part numbers and I don't know the practical difference:

08K8214 ThinkPad T40/R50 Series Li-Ion Battery ($129)
92P1101 ThinkPad T40/R50 Series 6 Cell Li-Ion Battery ($159)

Is the 92P1101 just the newer part for a higher capacity battery with the same shape as 08K8214. It lists as 4.8A/h whereas no power is listed for the 08K8214.

It's critical that the battery not stick out like the 9-cell battery does.

Actually it is interesting .. the more expensive battery is the newer RoHS compliant version of the older generation 6 cell. Either one will do the trick, but eventually the cheaper one will go away when RoHS comes into full effect.
