IBM ThinkPad A30 WorkStation "Server"

I own a IBM ThinkPad A30 and wanting to know if I could turn it into a Server for a out of service server?
Specs: 15.1" Display, 1GB RAM, 160GB HDD, Intel Pentium III 1.0GHz, CD/RW/DVD-ROM, Microsoft Windows 7

OK, this sounds interesting, but can you explain to me what an "Out of Service Server" is, and possibly how it's different than a regular server such as: File Server, DCHP/Firewall appliance, Mail Server etc.?

Work- Sadly, the ThinkPads have gone away...... and replaced by HP ProDesk SFF drone machines :(

If you need a Server operating system (XP is a good desktop system but a bad server), then your best bet would be a used IBM server on eBay or elsewhere complete with Server 2003 Standard. ... JDH

A game Server for the Sony PlayStation 2 that allowed everyone to play online with the Resident Evil OutBreak.
