How do you bypass content advisor password in Internet explo

How do you bypass content advisor password in Internet explorer in XP Pro?
I have been working on this I series old machine that is still nice but even though the internet is connected you can not browse. I have been going crazy check for viruses, spys, etc comes up clean, did dskchk /r as the hard drive was alittle noisy Updates from IE6 to 8 still no luck my friends (their machine) have AOL on here so I tried it too and it connects but wont browse, I used XP Cd to reinstall the OS as a repair and I am back to IE 6 and the usb wifi doesn't work and finally I get alittle popup that says the content advisor has blocked this page and enter your password. Wekk my "friends" say they have not blocked it they dont know the password, no one else has used themachine and on and on and on I cant tell them they are crazy even though they are eiter that or they arelying I tried an old tool IE fix and taht didnt even get past the content advisor. does anyone know how to disable that beast without knowing the apssword?

yes! I did it and it worked this is in IE6 now have to upgrade but ther is internet noe. thanks a million that Is what I have been in for a while PC Hell. every machine I look at just ocntinues to get worse. usually the gods of computing smile upon me but not for the past few weeks. time to take a vacation I guess, but thanks again

I hate to admit this but after I posted the question I did google it and found that exact link but did not have a chance to write back or try it until I looked and you had posted it. I should have done that first. It seems I am always barking up the wrong tree these days. Sorry about that but I appreciate your pointing it out and helping with that problem. I was pretty disgusted with that computer. I was doing someone a favor and they put that password and never said a word, then were in total denial about it and I had already spent about6 hours on the machine(thought they had blown the stack) updated, used the ief ix check so many settings but not the right one and after I removed the password I spent another several just redoing the microsoft updates and checking their stupid AOL. well I am done with it and they can have it back and if they ask again, I will have to refer them to the forum, Or to google. thanks again i do appreciate this forum.
