T30 -XP SP3 File Permissions missing

Just installed a new XP PRO from the T30 3 CD rescue set.
Updated to SP2 and then SP3. Simple File Sharing is turned off.
The T30's XP is running OK EXCEPT having trouble with home LAN from the T30 to another PC.
Appears to be a permissions problem. Very odd is I cannot see the user permissions
on the T30 when setting up file sharing on a folder. On the Other PC, I do see Permissions.

Is there a register or other setting I need to change to be able to set users names under sharing and security on the T30

You need to switch File Sharing back on if you want to go between machines.

With File sharing enabled and SIMPLE FILE SHARING disabled,
now is working better and I do have "permissions" to adjust.
