Is There A Coating On The X200 Tablet Multitouch Screen?

#1 Post by epu » Thu Dec 31, 2009 2:54 pm

My screen seems to have some spots on it that cannot be rubbed off or cleaned off. This started in one area of the screen, and is now speading to other areas. I will attach pics at one point, but its as if whatever coating is on it is coming off. These areas of the screen looked spotty and grazed. It is only visible when the screen is black. The spotted areas look lighter than the areas of the screen which do not suffer from the symptom.

I have a one year warranty with my X200 Tablet (which is up in a month and a half), but I never ordered on-site or accidental damage. Anyone know what this might be? I didn't have this issue when I owned a X61 Tablet last year.

Another question, the BLUE LEVER that pushes out an inserted EXPRESS CARD has snapped in half. Not unuseable, but it is broken nonetheless. Is there a replacement part for this that I could order?
