Can I install WD 1 TB scorpio for W500 - 12.5 mm thick ?

I'm looking for a WD10TEVT Scorpio Hard disk for my W500.
It's possible to install a 12.5 mm thick hard disk or I am restricted to only 9 mm hdd ?

No, the only Thinkpads that could use it would be the R series and the W700 in the modular bay.
