wireless light does not turn on

After i installed the new Tp-Link TL-WN861N WIRELESS N 300M Network Mini Pci Card for my thinkpad t42. the wireless light below the LCD does not turn on even though the wireless works very well. Before i got the 1802 error, but that was taken care of. so how i can turn the wireless light back on. thank u

You can't get the light to work with an unauthorized card in 99% of the cases.
