Lenovo Skylight

Maybe this is the right place to post this.

Seems that lenovo has presented this thing

at CES ... now, don't know you but 499 usd for a "smartphone" with a 10" screen and 20gb of ssd memory is a bit...

There's something I don't understand at all... it weights 0.9Kg. Ok, you can use it for 10h (accordingly at least), but still it's using a smartphone cpu. What's the point when an X61 is light years faster, has just a bit more weight, a bigger screen, a comparable price (used), a real cpu, and can be used with a 3G module ?

The UGLIEST looking laptop ever...even ulgier than that ACER TravelMate 2501XC that I tried to repair.

And why does it waste so much space with that large curve when screen is only rectangular? I suppose though, it will appeal to some people...

Curve maybe filled with battery?

Only thing I am curious about is the wireless wide area network plan it would require to be used as casually as they describe.
