Wake-on-LAN works, but not when T41 is in standby

Hi,

I have a small problem that maybe someone can help with. I'm trying to use Wake-on-LAN, and it works fine when the T41 is shutdown, but not from standby. I have the net card power management settings set to allow waking, and also the net card config is set to accept magic and directed packets, but for some reason it still won't work. I also have another device connected, a USB remote controller, which is able to wake the laptop from standby. Anyone got an idea why this might be?

I have experienced the same problem.
looking for "ThinkPad T41 Enabling Wake on LAN from Standby driver '' i was able to find the good software from driverscollection.

once unzipped in the right folder, for instance "c:\drivers\CTRLWOL",
in a cmd prompt type there "cscript CTRLWOL.vbs ENABLE"and it will work.
