Is there a guide I can use on how to boot from a SSD?

I see alot of talk and videos on running x series from SSD but I just need some advice on how to go about actually doing that. m good with computers ive just never had to install an OS before. thanks!

Apart from a different looking hardware, the procedures are exactly the same as for a hard disk.

How do I actually go about putting the OS on the SSD?
