1400i cpu cards

#1 Post by pscowboy » Wed Jan 13, 2010 4:31 pm

Considering the Thinkpad 1400i 2611-411, am I assuming correctly that its' SL34N cpu card was only made in a 300 MHz speed?
Were there ever faster cpu cards built? This thing isn't even labeled a Pentium II.

Do I have any options for improving the processing power?

lots of i series, I'm not looking it up this late but some were 390 based and could be upgraded, some were based on... well a 1400 and had the CPU solderd on the board a a 2621-460 (or was is 2611-460) comes to mind. I have a couple 1200i's here I haven't even botherd to take apart and one of the 500MHz celeron 1400i's. I just checked to see if they booted.
Is it Big with the CD and FDD on the right in one unit or is the FDD and CD on seperate sides?
T60p/x32/t42p/a31p and about 100 more 8)
