A31 With Both PCMCIA Slots Dead (Solution Found)

I have a known working Belkin wireless card (works in another LT) that isn't recognized and doesn't light-up.
Is there, possibly, a key combination that shut-off power to the slots?
This happened recently and it had been working.

Do the PCMCIA slots show up as working in device manager?

Yes, both are there and functioning.

What is the model and version of the Belkin card? My thought is that if it is Linux compatible to boot up a Linux Live CD to see if it is seen there. If it is...you do not have a hardware problem. If it is not, then you do.

It was suggested (in another forum) that the card slot came loose from the motherboard.
It was actually pulled loose from the adapter board that plugs into the M/B.
After an hour and a half...the slots have connections for wireless!
