What have I done to my T43

First of all I'd like to say thanks for this forum, its helped me a great deal and I hope you field questions from a novice?....Here's my story....My t43 was "up & running" and I had an altercation with my cd drive.While wrestling with it...it unplugged from the computer and when it did the whole thing shut down and refuses to come back to life.No power,no lights,no beeps no anything. I'm braced for the worst so fire away....How Bad Is It !...Thanks Everyone!

Hi Robbie. Try this. Unplug the laptop, take the battery out, press and release the power button 10 times. On the tenth time hold it down for about 20 sec. Repeat this three times and put the CD drive back in, then battery, and plug in. Now press the power button.

I've had an instance of a non-responding Thinkpad and Toshiba (brothers) that came back to life with the little "drain the capacitors" trick.

I just tried it.....but it didn't work....Thanks anyway Emeraldgirl !!
