USB ports on A31

#1 Post by cwirth » Mon Feb 21, 2005 11:36 am

Anyone know if the USB ports on an A31 are 2.0 compliant? The manual did not say and I want to connect a USB device that requires 2.0.

time to buy a cardbus usb 2 adapter....

If you want the detailed explination.......

USB controller is built into the southbridge of the chipset, which is a chip soldered onto the board, The chipset used by early p4's were all USB 1, nothing you can do about it.
