755CD only does 640 x 480

#1 Post by os2sam » Mon Feb 21, 2005 4:38 pm

I have a 755CD with Win95. The only resolution I can get it to use is 640X480. The manual says that it will do 800X600 and 1024X768 as well but I can't get it to work. I have downloaded the latest utility disk's and installed them but it hasn't helped.
Thanks,
Sam

The only 755 ever built that could display higher than 640x480 on the LCD was the 755CX which could display 800x600. The higher modes such as 800x600 and 1024x768 only apply to having an external monitor attached to your computer.
