I have a T40 on which I have been using the Keyboard Customizer Utility to a) delay the CAPS Lock and b) change some mapping on the external keyboard when using the port replicator.
Last week we converted our office network to native Active Directory. As a result our client logons have changed slightly. The problem I have is that since that change my keyboard customization is gone. When I try to start the customization utility I get an error message that the Keyboard Customizer is being used by another user.
I tried logging off and back on with the old logon (offline) and then turning off all the customizer settings, hopefully freeing the utility. When I log back in with the new login I still get the error message. I also tried reinstalling the utility from the IBM site distribution but that didn't help either.
Does anyone know how to override this so I can use it again.
