Upgrading processor?

On x41, anything I should know? Whats the highest I can go?
X41-1.5GHz, 1.0 GB RAM, 32GB SSD, Ubuntu 9.10

The CPU on an X41 is soldered to the systemboard.

Yes, you'd have to swap the board, but is it even worth it? The biggest performance killer on the X4x machines is the slow hard drive, which is not easily or cheaply upgraded.

Well, I cannot completely agree, ZIF drives are very easy to update. About "cheap"... well... It depends on everyone's budget. But for around 100 USD you can get an 80GB drive with an adapter. And it's plug&play. I've seen many people in this forum upgrading to much more expensive (and faster) SSDs.
