Reliability of Intel-based board coupled with the best screen type ever offered on a laptop IMHO is pretty hard to beat, and even harder to find in this generation of ThinkPads. In certain aspects, this is the ultimate T4x.

This was my wife's pride and joy for the past six months, and if it has been lifted off her desk three times during that period, that's a lot. However, now that she has a new toy (note that I'm not saying "a new ThinkPad") this one has to be placed for adoption...

known imperfections:

- average wear on the lid

- A "splotch" of tiny grayish specs in the upper RH corner of the LCD, visible mostly on very light backgrounds

The machine is in stock (as described above) configuration, with three upgrades and one (sort of) downgrade:

a) Hard drive is now 60GB/7200rpm Hitachi with a FRU

b) The battery is a 9-cell in "green" condition.

c) Blueooth/modem combo card with proper clear plates has been installed.

d) RAM is 2x512MB and not 1x1GB


The warranty on this machine has expired, but I'll guarantee it against DOA and to be as described...

Asking $265 firm shipped within U.S. or $250 plus shipping at cost almost anywhere else. If you don't want the hard drive, I'll knock off $50.
