Thinkpad R40 2682-UNI Wireless Driver on XP not working

Hi- did a fresh XP install and tried the drivers on lenovo support which did not work. I also tried a wireless card which did nto work either (driver installed- could see wireless networks but could nto connect).

upgraded the BIOS to 1.27 (latest) and ensured that wireless was enabled.

I managed to get the NIC up and connected to the Internet- it needed the Cisco LAn dirver for the LAN- why lenovo does not have this in their package download is a question.

Fixed it appears
