cssauth.exe error when booting up on x41

Is there anyone that can help with my problem on Client Security System.
I am running XP. When I boot my X41 I get an error message in my local language that I interpret to be " cssauth.exe error when initializing".
I was told to remove CSS and reinstall, is this the right thing to do ? How do I do that ?
Apprecaite any help you can give to this new commer.
