2nd Hard Drive Adapter

#1 Post by dlpmn » Tue Feb 22, 2005 5:16 pm

Hello All,

I a several A21 & A31 Thinkpads that use the 2nd hard drive adapter. We have found that these work great for creating a backup drive. The problem is that once there is any type of errors on the harddrive the copy process will stall. This has happened twice now when a bad sector is detected. Defrag cleans up the disc but the copy process still stalls.

Anybody have any ideas? Is there something better out there?

Any help is much appreciated.
Thanks!
DP

Hello dlpm,

I think in order for anyone to be able to help You, You should add some more and more precise info ...

(Hard- & software environment, tools used to prepare the hdd, tools used for backup, info wording of showing up, steps taken, etc)

Good luck
