Hi folks-
When I boot my new T42P I sometimes get a Svchost.exe error, before I've even logged on. It comes up right when the system prompts me for my user name and password, or shortly thereafter if I don't quickly enter my login info. It happens maybe one boot out of three.
If I OK the error dialog, the system has trouble loading further processes and basically I'm forced to turn it off and reboot.
I'm clean with all the latest definitions for VirusScan, Ad-Aware, Spybot, etc.. All windows updates applied to date.
How can I monitor the boot process in detail to figure out where the problem is?
Marc
