Bluetooth keeps turning off after sleep/hibernate - SOLVED

#1 Post by nickdutton » Wed Feb 03, 2010 10:27 am

Hello,

The bluetooth on my W500 keeps disabling itself.

This problem has persisted from my old Vista Business 64 to the current Win7 64 build (clean install from scratch, all updates from lenovo/microsoft applied).

I suspect that this might be some simple power-management option that I've missed, but there's nothing that I can see on the web about this problem.

Can anyone shed any light on this?

TIA,

There have been some reports that resetting your BIOS settings to defaults fix the problem. It worked on my T60.

Ugh - I hate those four words! I did look first, promise.

Anyway, thanks for the response, that seems to have fixed it, even though I thought that I'd individually set/reset anything in the BIOS that could be associated with bluetooth.
