Hello
The left hinge of my dad's 14.1" T42 broke so I ordered new hinges for the machine. I have studied the hardware maintenance manual and am quite sure I can fix it myself. The only thing is that the new hinges do not bend at all. The black part that I think should rotate somehow is absolutely stuck. What am I missing here? Should I prepare them somehow?
Be well,
Sölvi

Re: New hinges stuck
These are very tight when new.
Once they are built in, movement will become possible.
Just make sure to either use two hands, or move the screen up/down with your hand in the middle of the top-edge of the screen.
