With the prices of external 3.5" hard drives being what they were, decided to go for one. But as the T30's only got USB1.1, thought a SATA PCMCIA card was the way to go.
SATA is one of these: http://www.doubleh.com.tw/dh-sata-pccard.htm
IBM T30 is: 2366-85G
Hard lock up as soon as WinXP start the fade in Welcome screen, and Linux locks up while it's loading (can't remember which message exactly, but something with IRQ11 in it).
I've tried defaulting BIOS settings, changing PCI option from 11 to 10, to Auto.
And flashing the BIOS to latest.
Would anyone out there have some insight or pointers on this?
T30+SATA PCMCIA card=hard lock (works with T22 tho)
