Question: W510 dock and displayport

Hello,

I just wanted to confirm (searched the forums and didn't see a similar question).

I have purchased a W510 and intend to use Displayport cables to connect 2 monitors. Since the signal is digital, I would expect that the quality of the cable is irrelevant? I am looking into purchasing 10 foot cables and there is an extreme price difference in some cases ($20 to $80).

You won't get anything more by paying more. Check out monoprice.com for cables - I use them a lot. Make sure you don't my "mini Displayport" - just normal Displayport.
