Original description: P8600(2.4GHz), 2GB RAM, 250GB 5400rpm HD, 14.1in 1440x900 LCD, Intel 4500MHD, CDRW/DVDRW, Intel 802.11agn wireless, Vodafone WWAN, Bluetooth, Modem, 1Gb Ethernet, Ultranav, Secure chip, Fingerprint reader, 6c Li-Ion, No Preload
Your T400 has an Intel 4500MHD GPU only.
The "no-preload" indicates its probably a corporate volume purchase model, for an organisation that installs its own Standrd Operating Environemnt image. Volume corporate purchases rarely specify a discrete GPU in the configuration.
Re your WWAN question, you need to tell us a LOT more about it. Also, do you have a Vodafone SIM?
Cheers,
Bill B.

No I don´t have Vodafone Sim, if cannot be unlocked so it´s really not interesting. What do you mean with a LOT more about it?
On the bottom of the computer tells model ZDH, but ebay item description told ZDN. What happens is that ZDH (what really puts on the bottom) doesn´t appear on the list on lenovo support...
In the other hand, mine comes with 160gb of hdd and DVD recorder, so it´s really not ZDN.
But ZDH doesn´t exist on the list... what happens?

If you bought it off eBay, what is actually in the T400 case may bear little relationship to the model/configuration number on the system.lagoausente wrote:On the bottom of the computer tells model ZDH, but ebay item description told ZDN.
A sad fact of life.

The label is ok, what happens is that I don´t find model ZDH. Where can I search for the serial number? If this one was a corporation laptop, sould appera on the SN searching?bill bolton wrote: If you bought it off eBay, what is actually in the T400 case may bear little relationship to the model/configuration number on the system.

Re: My T400 don´t have ATI graphics??
I bought all three of my Thinkpads from ebay and didn't have any problems. As with all items on ebay you've just got to be _really_ careful about the description, if necessary ask all questions you have before bidding since there's a written record there.
I got my T400 a year ago with discrete graphics for around £500, brand new. Apparently from some corporate surplus, but as Bill said corporate models rarely have anything above integrated for cost reasons. Even with my model number and serial number they cannot pull up an entire run down of everything in the system, just some generalities. For instance I was wondering if I had a WWAN card or not and it turns out I don't from physical inspection.
Also my on-site warranty is a 'special contract' although I've confirmed that it is available nationwide, not in a specific building or on specific days or anything.

Re: My T400 don´t have ATI graphics??
Mine cost 550 euro, and is also brand new, is perfect. Intel graphics is ok for me, since I want battery life not gamin. Item description was ok, it comes with what told on description. I just thought I could get the entire info using the serial number, but I can´t find it. Searching for my serial number on Lenovo support page tells don´t find. I´m missing some link where to search? I saw other auctions of brand new T400 that I can´t find out, where the seller gived a link to check the serial number to find out if the laptop was used or not.., when was purchased etc. Anyone knows something related to this? Just curious I should like to find out that. On the label tells 09/06, so seems it´s june 2009, that´s fantastic has less than a year.., or I´m wrong?Dead1nside wrote:I bought all three of my Thinkpads from ebay and didn't have any problems.
