Thinkpad USB Keyboard w/Trackpoint

I just purchased the Lenovo USB keyboard with trackpoint to use with my T61. After installing the latest driver I find that the scrolling does not work well at all. Scrolling in Firefox and Thunderbird does not work at all unless I set the scrolling option to Auto-select and then scrolling is very choppy and erratic. Anyone using one of these keyboards?
