I went to the parts lookup on Lenovo's website, and the FRU is listing a bunch of 0's (see below):
Anyone know where I can source the exact same LCD? I hit the LCD w/ my foot while the computer was on the floor, and the digitizer works (the outer glass is intact), but the inner LCD is broken...it's a 6366-8KU, and I didn't see the "8KU" listed in the Lenovo service manual...seems like I could jsut take apart my bezel and replace the LCD if I had the right part, right?
Also, is the Multitouch LCD a specific LCD, or is it just the digitizer that makes it "multitouch"? Cuz then I could just replace the LCD itself...they seem to go on ebay for like $150?

Re: Help Need Part # for the LCD in the x60 tablet w/ multitouch
Wow...thanks for the respose so fast! So um...the LCD part...is the "MultiTouch" part of the screen referring to the digitizer? So, i.e. really I can use any LCD panel replacement, including this one? In other words, if the digitizer is working (I can use my finger to move the cursor around the screen), then replacing the panel w/ said part will NOT affect my ability to use my finger to move the cursor?
http://www.etech.com/item--NYK211-040
It says it's the "matte" one while the "glossy" one is another type of panel. I think the digitizer is a separate layer on top of the LCD right? If so, is the digitizer the layer that's giving the LCD the "matte" look? If so, then should I get the glossy or the matte LCD?
Thanks...also a helpful individual here offered to replace the LCD w/ a X61 assembly; however, I'm concerned about the different part numbers and wonder whetehr the X61 tablet LCD assembly would work in the X60 tablet and/or cause warranty problems (system is under warranty...I understand this repair would NOT be under warranty, but I'm concerned about voiding the rest of the warranty).
Thanks

Re: Help Need Part # for the LCD in the x60 tablet w/ multitouch
Get a matte LCD. The digitizer is separate. If you replace the LCD and the digitizer is working, then touch screen will also work.
