SOLD: R51 Frankenpad 1.7Ghz/1.25GB/40GB/UXGA

I have up for sale an R51 with a transplanted UXGA Flexview from a T42p. The story behind this system is a long one, but the summary is that I thought the panel was a direct swap for the original SXGA+, and it wasn't. Threads discussing the issue:

It works, but I don't use it, so it needs to go.

1.25 GB RAM
40GB HDD (not sure of speed - assume 5400)
Radeon 9000
2200BG
UXGA Flexview - very nice shape to my untrained eyes
CDRW/DVD
6 cell battery in green: 69 cycles, 44/51 Wh. Includes 72W adapter.
XP Pro installed from OEM media. Drivers installed with ThinkVantage System Update.
Cosmetic condition 8/10 (light keyboard shine in places, lid has a few scuffs)

The bad:
- Because the cable didn't fit, when I first closed the lid, the little "nub" on the LCD bezel snapped off when it tried to push on the switch and it couldn't. I modded the underside of the keyboard bezel to make the switch button work. A dab of epoxy to form the "nub" would make it function again.
- The indicators on the LCD don't line up - they're off by one. You'll see the power light blink upon access of the hard drive.
- The display has a slight bit of discoloration on the left-center edge and lower right corner. I believe this is normal but am not well-versed in these displays. I have to look for it to see it.

It pains me to get rid of this system because the display is so nice compared to the current crap available, but my work requires far more horsepower than this system can provide. It has its warts, but can be used as-is or fixed up.

I have no idea what to ask. I'll start at $200 plus shipping. Make me a reasonable offer if you don't think that's fair. Email frankenpad at brsoln dot com.
