SSD drive on x300 Poorly Qu

I have a x300 seems the hdd may not be too good seems to be poorly,
I take it this is an cru part, so they just ship out the replacement ?
Its also part of the new do not return defective hdd back scheme.
Just wondered if anyone has had any experience of this...

Just too busy at moment to tend to engineer visits at them moment, so
may just have to upgrade to a snazzy intel drive maybe :d and arrange the visit some
other time.

please let us kno if any one has gone through a swap out .......
