How good (or bad) is a HD+ display for "light" phot editing?

I'm expecting to recieve my W510 sometime this week. It is the HD+ display. My intention is to use it w/ adobe lightroom for photo storage and minor tweaking while in the field. Should I have spent the extra $450 and gone w/ the FHD?

This is an option, not a suggestion. If it has not shipped, you can just call in and either cancel the order, or change the existing one. Either way, your ThinkPad will make its way to the back of the line as far as shipping is concerned if it is a CTO, which I'm assuming it is. If it has shipped, you can simply tell UPS to return it, even if it is 2 feet from you at your door. If you accept it and return it, even on the same day, you get hosed with the 15% restocking fee, so just know that.

Like I said, I am not suggesting you do one thing over another. I can't answer your question other than to say that I always have to have the highest-end screen. Someone else will hopefully answer that. I just wanted to make sure you that you know your options as far as the shipping technicalities of your current W510 configuration.

You might want to change the thread title to something more descriptive than "Did I make a mistake?".

Good luck.

The FHD has 95% gamet, the HD does not, not sure what it does have.
