Wireless gone (all indicators went off a few weeks ago)

Hi all
A few months ago the last of the indicator (battery) stopped working. Prior to that, the AC indicator had stopped lighting up. It did not matter much as I wat not interested in visiting the repair shop for this purpose. The wireless does not work any more. As I do not generally use wireless I may have missed the time it stopped working.
From my understanding at least the indicator symptoms are related to the inverter board. I was thinking maybe the disease has spread quite wide and the next thing to go down could be the LCD ! Is that possible?
What do the wise men suggest. Get a replacement? Will that help?

Thew most likely cause is the inverter. That is also the cheapest part. Try that first

For what it's worth (and it is probably unrelated to your issue), I had the wireless indicator go mysteriously a few weeks ago on my T60p. The wireless also stopped working.

Updating the driver via ThinkVantage System Update fixed that.
