T400s haunted cursor
T400s haunted cursor
I've got a customer who's got a T400s running a fresh install of Windows 7. The cursor is always randomly jumping all over the screen. I've got the new UltraNav driver installed, and both Press-to-Select and Tapping are disabled. I've seen this issue before, but disabling tapping always solved it. Now I'm at a loss. Any suggestions?
Thanks.
Thanks.
Re: T400s haunted cursor
I had the same problem with my W700, check for bluetooth interference, first test just by turning bluetooth off and see if that fixes the issue.
Next make sure that all keyboard screws are tight.
Hope this helps.

Thanks for the quick post, MTW,
The keyboard screws are tight. Bluetooth is disabled. Still jumpy.

Re: T400s haunted cursor
Could the touchpad connector be loose? Does it stop when if disable or the touchpad or TrackPoint through Fn+F8?
