PCMCIA Slots

Does anyone know if dual PC slots on T22 are "powered" from the same circuit or individual ones?
Upper slot stopped working although lower one OK. Trying to determine if an electronics or hardware (caddy) failure. Presumably if both slots share a common power source it is unlikely that the motherboard is at fault.
