Hey everyone,
I purchased an x201 on 3/1, the estimated ship date is 3/15

same here, just that I'm keeping the macbook pro as the X201s will be my new work laptop Originally they were saying 3/11 as the ship date. On the 3rd, the ship date got bumped to 3/15. I checked just now, and the ship date is completely blank. Sweet!

actually that's the exact same thing that's happened to me.

I think upon ordering I had an est. ship date of 3/11, which at some point moved to 3/15.
This morning when posting I noticed it's blank for me too! x.x

I ordered a X201s on 3/2 with estimated ship date of 3/16 but I just got an email that it was shipped on 3/5. Still waiting for tracking number. Will just have to wait while it flies half-way around the world to get here.

and I ordered on the 1st.. with the fastest shipping method they offered (2-day), but no shipping for me. I'm still just grateful they released the 201 when they did, I was about to get a T410 I couldn't wait forever since for me it's my work laptop and I'm starting my new position on monday. A couple weeks using a Dell I can deal with, but even that is pushing it.

i was stupid and sold my MBP on eBay in mid-february in anticipation for a core iX refresh of the macbook pro line. i got really impatient and almost bought the current 13"! good thing i stumbled upon lenovo's site it's been hell using my 800Mhz G3 iBook for the past two weeks!

I wonder if mine is delayed because I ordered it with the 55Y9003 "ThinkPad USB Keyboard" (the one that is just a thinkpad keyboard including trackpoint but external). It was "Ships within 24 hours" when I ordered, but now it's "Ships within 9 days". That's it, I'm calling on Monday.

Already have windows 7 ultimate edition and will upgrade ram myself, also going to replace HDD with SSD

It means there is a camera plus the antenna(s) for the wireless broadband card are installed surrounding the screen regardless of whether you equip the laptop with said WWAN card.

I ordered my x201 on 3/6 and initially saw and estimated ship date of 3/19 during the ordering process. However, when I check my order status, it does not have a ship date. Is this common after you've order your laptop?

When does the expected ship date usually appear?

You used the same customer and order number from the Lenovo email on that site? That's not working at all for me, lame. I think I'll just try not to think about it and be pleasantly surprised when the laptop arrives.

Yep. It worked. If you cut and pasted your info be mindful not to include spaces or special characters. That happened to me the first time and it didn't work. Also make sure on the following screen you highlight your order and choose the option at the bottom to view additional information. That usually will show your ship date.

I just checked my status and it went from 3/23 to shipped. I have a UPS tracking number but it didn't give me a delivery date. Being that I choose 2 day shipping, I guess it should be here by Friday or Saturday at the latest.

Looks like a lot of people are going with the i620M. Looks like a really nice processor. I bet it'll spank my p8600 2.4ghz dual core in my x200.
