I put a ssd in my t42 and it works really good( no 2010 error), i failed to use ssd in my t43, why that happens in t43 , not t42

Only T43/p, R52 and X41/T throw the "2010 error", because of their SATA-to-PATA bridge and whitelist associated with it.

Having said that, you should still be able to use the SSD, people have installed these with success on T43s.

Would the Lenovo 41W0736 solve the 2010 error in the T43/R52? Anyone try?

Exactly how would you install that SSD in a T43 or R52?

With a ZIF to IDE connector, as mentioned in this thread...

Apologies. I was under the (incorrect) impression that the drive in question is a full-blown 1.8" IDE, and not a ZIF with an adapter...that settles the science, I guess...

I should have said 'solve the issue of running an SSD in a T43 without the annoying 2010 error" My hope was that since it was a lenovo product it might not throw the error.

According to the thread that I linked, the part number you listed worked in another system. I believe that the whitelist is consistent between the similar models, though I could be wrong.

Take a read through the link that I gave...

If I can get one for a decent price, I might try it on a t43 I am building. Its a 1871-4BU with intel graphics, I'm trying to put together a well optioned machine that will last for awhile with decent performance.
