Need to install new LCD; Best choices?

#1 Post by lobbleton » Thu Mar 11, 2010 2:24 am

I have to install a new LCD on my T60p but I do not want to do it myself. I know my limitations and would rather have someone install it that has before. What would be my best move?

You might try these people: http://www.screentekinc.com/index.shtml

Note: I have no personal experience with them. They are based out of Houston, TX. Note also the following:
Can ScreenTek install my screen for me?

Yes, ScreenTek provides LCD installation for free, though it requires you send us your laptop complete with all items mentioned in the packing list (see page 3 of the order form). Please contact a sales associate for more informatin prior to sending us your laptop.

We do, however, strongly encourage you to replace your LCD screen yourself. Installation requires a small Phillips screwdriver, a sharp object (knife, exacto blade, etc), and 20 minutes of your time. Please see our simple, step-by-step removal instructions, including photos.
