T20 Battery Calibration

I just change the battery cells .. and I need to do a battery calibration in order to use the "new" battery!!

This tool is available from the BIOS on my Compaq and HP laptop. So, how do I calibrate my IBM ThinkPad ?

don't "calibrate"... you will lose some capacity.... it will calibrate naturally over time....

On my Compaq laptop if I didnt calibrate the battery it will only last about 15 minutes. After calibration, it last up to 2 hours !

This happened to my IBM ThinkPad T20 ! After 10 minutes of usage, the LED will blinking inform me to charge the battery. Therefore, I am thinking calibration might solve this problem.

well, it doesn't seem to work that way on the T42 series with a new battery... please report back your results.....
